Connection and Control Performance of Blind Flange Plate
Blind flange plate connection is the easiest connecting way between cast iron pipe and steel pipe. And the blind flange plate can be used to check the mouth. In addition, the blind flange plate connection is suitable for pipe connection of diameter from phi 50 to 315mm .Its characteristics are no rigid connection, detachability and tensile resistance. Blind flange plate connection method is commonly used as detachable fittings on low pressure pipeline.
Commonly used on the pipeline, in that case, loosing bolts can rotate on both sides of the pipe, then tightening can conveniently dismantling the pipe material of carbon steel is called carbon steel flange, and blind flange plate is the connection device between two large diameter pipes, usually being two flanges and number of the bolts. Carbon steel flange is flange made of carbon steel. Low carbon steel has good plasticity and low strength, but it becomes hard after adding suitable amount of carbon, plasticity becoming lower and strength becoming enhanced. Flange connection is possibly required to bear very high tensile, pressure-resistance, torsion and shear strength, thus blind flange plate is a better choice.
Socket flange blind plate connection is suitable for pipe connection of diameter from 32 to 315 mm. Its characteristics are non rigid connection, detachability and tensile resistance. When Installing the socket type shortened pipe fittings, fixed anchor pipe clamp must be used in order to prevent the movement of the socket pipe in expansion and contraction. At least one socket type shortened the pipe must be installed in vertical tube between floors, long collection pipe network sand buried pipes. This is because the socket type blind flange plate can not only eliminate expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes in the drainage process, but also can help with each floor pipe connections, making pipe installation more simple.
Blind flange plate, referring to moving flexible flange, is generally set on water supply and drainage fittings (most common on the slip joint), and there is a piece of flange on both ends of the expansion joints when leaving the factory, directly connected with the pipeline in project and equipment with bolt connection, that is, the kind of flange with belt loop.
Blind flange plate connection method shall be carried out in accordance with the form and standard of actual control in connection, in which it will show good performance advantages and value, fully demonstrating its good usage properties.
